CPR Certification in Oklahoma
Whether you need CPR certification for your job, to meet school requirements, or for personal preparedness, Oklahoma has accredited training centers offering American Red Cross, American Heart Association, and ASHI classes. CPR & First Aid Requirements in Oklahoma
Oklahoma has two notable CPR laws named after individuals. The Chase Morris Sudden Cardiac Arrest Prevention Act mandates yearly CPR certification for all athletic coaches, and the Dustin Rhodes and Lindsay Steed CPR Training Act requires all high school students to receive CPR, AED, and Heimlich maneuver instruction before graduation. Licensed childcare providers must maintain current pediatric CPR and First Aid certification through the Oklahoma Department of Human Services. Dental professionals must hold BLS-level CPR certification. Both AHA and Red Cross certifications are accepted statewide.
