Terms of Service
Last Updated: March 15, 2026
Welcome to DoCPR. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the DoCPR platform, website, and services (collectively, the "Service") operated by DoCPR ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), with offices located in Ankeny, Iowa; North Liberty, Iowa; and Omaha, Nebraska. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account, accessing, or using the DoCPR platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service, as well as our Privacy Policy and Acceptable Use Policy, which are incorporated herein by reference. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
You must be at least 18 years of age to create an administrator account. Students under the age of 18 may register for classes with the consent of a parent or legal guardian. By using the Service, you represent that you meet these eligibility requirements.
2. Description of Service
DoCPR is a multi-tenant software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform designed for CPR training businesses and instructors. The Service provides tools for managing CPR certification classes, student registrations, bookings, payments, certification tracking, and related administrative functions.
The platform operates on a multi-tenant architecture, meaning that individual CPR training businesses ("Tenants") each maintain their own isolated environment within the DoCPR platform. Each Tenant may configure their own classes, schedules, pricing, locations, and instructor assignments. Students interact with specific Tenants when booking and attending CPR classes.
DoCPR does not itself provide CPR training, certification, or medical instruction. The Company is a technology provider that facilitates the management and delivery of CPR training services by independent Tenants. All CPR instruction, certification decisions, and training quality are the sole responsibility of the respective Tenant.
3. User Accounts
The Service supports multiple account types and roles, including but not limited to:
- System Administrators: Users with platform-wide administrative access, managed by DoCPR.
- Tenant Administrators: Users who manage a specific Tenant's settings, classes, locations, instructors, students, and bookings within the platform.
- Instructors: Users assigned by a Tenant to teach CPR classes and manage class rosters, attendance, and certification outcomes.
- Students: Individuals who register for and attend CPR classes offered by Tenants through the platform. Students may create portal accounts to view their bookings, certifications, and profile information.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to immediately notify DoCPR of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security. DoCPR will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to protect your account credentials.
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating your account and to update such information as necessary to keep it accurate and complete.
4. Booking and Payment Terms
Students may book CPR classes through the DoCPR platform. Class availability, pricing, schedules, and locations are determined by each Tenant independently. By booking a class, you agree to pay the listed price and any applicable fees at the time of registration.
All payments are processed securely through Stripe, a third-party payment processor. By making a payment through the Service, you agree to Stripe's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. DoCPR does not store your full credit card information on its servers.
Tenants may offer coupons, vouchers, or promotional pricing at their discretion. Such offers are subject to any terms and conditions specified by the Tenant and may be modified or revoked at any time by the issuing Tenant.
Refunds, when applicable, will be processed back to the original payment method via Stripe. Processing times for refunds are subject to your financial institution's policies and may take 5–10 business days to appear on your statement.
5. Cancellation and Refund Policy
The following cancellation and refund policies apply to class bookings made through the DoCPR platform, unless a Tenant has established alternative policies that are communicated to you at the time of booking:
48-Hour Cancellation Policy
Students may cancel a class booking up to 48 hours before the scheduled class start time and receive a full refund. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the class start time are not eligible for a refund unless otherwise determined by the Tenant at their sole discretion.
No-Show Policy
Students who fail to attend a class without prior cancellation ("no-shows") are not entitled to a refund. The Tenant may, at their sole discretion, offer to reschedule a no-show student to a future class or issue a partial or full credit.
Class Cancellations by Tenant
If a Tenant cancels a class for any reason, all affected students will receive a full refund or, if preferred, the option to reschedule to an alternative class at no additional cost.
Individual Tenants may implement their own cancellation and refund policies, which may be more or less restrictive than the defaults described above. It is the student's responsibility to review the applicable cancellation policy at the time of booking.
6. Intellectual Property
The DoCPR platform, including its design, software, code, user interface, graphics, logos, trademarks, and all related intellectual property, is owned by DoCPR and is protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, or otherwise exploit any portion of the Service without prior written consent from DoCPR.
Tenants retain ownership of their own content, including class descriptions, scheduling information, branding, and any materials they upload to the platform. Tenants grant DoCPR a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute such content solely for the purpose of operating and providing the Service.

You represent and warrant that you own or have the necessary rights to submit such content and that your content does not infringe upon the rights of any third party.

DoCPR makes no warranties or representations regarding the quality, accuracy, or validity of any CPR training, instruction, or certification provided by Tenants through the platform. The Company is a technology provider and does not certify, endorse, or guarantee the qualifications of any Tenant or instructor.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall DoCPR, its officers, directors, employees, agents, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or in connection with your access to or use of (or inability to access or use) the Service.
In no event shall DoCPR's total aggregate liability to you for all claims arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service exceed the greater of (a) the amount you have paid to DoCPR in the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) one hundred dollars ($100.00).
DoCPR shall not be liable for any injuries, damages, or losses arising from CPR training, instruction, or certification activities conducted by Tenants, including but not limited to personal injury, wrongful death, or any consequences resulting from the application or misapplication of CPR techniques learned through classes managed on the platform.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless DoCPR, its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or in connection with: (a) your use of or access to the Service; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any rights of any third party; (d) any User Content you submit or transmit through the Service; or (e) for Tenants, any CPR training, instruction, or certification services you provide through the platform, including any claims of negligence, malpractice, or inadequate training.
