CPR Certification in Nebraska
Whether you need CPR certification for your job, to meet school requirements, or for personal preparedness, Nebraska has accredited training centers offering American Red Cross, American Heart Association, and ASHI classes. Most classes include hands-on skills practice and take between 2–6 hours to complete. Certifications are typically valid for two years.

CPR & First Aid Requirements in Nebraska
Nebraska requires all licensed childcare providers to maintain current CPR and First Aid certification as a condition of licensing through the Department of Health and Human Services. EMS providers must hold Basic Life Support-level CPR certification that includes a practical skills evaluation. While Nebraska does not currently mandate CPR training for high school graduation, many school districts independently require teachers and coaches to maintain CPR/AED/First Aid certification. Both the American Red Cross and American Heart Association certifications are accepted, with standard two-year renewal periods.
