CPR classes in North Dakota

Whether you need CPR certification for your job, to meet school requirements, or for personal preparedness, North Dakota has accredited training centers offering American Red Cross, American Heart Association, and ASHI classes. Most classes include hands-on skills practice and take between 2–6 hours to complete. Certifications are typically valid for two years.

North Dakota requires CPR training for high school graduation since the 2015-2016 school year and mandates that all dental professionals—including dentists, dental hygienists, and dental assistants—maintain current CPR proficiency certification. Childcare staff must obtain infant and pediatric CPR and AED certification within 90 days of employment and prior to unsupervised access to children. Coaches must maintain Adult, Child, and Infant CPR, AED, and First Aid certification. Both AHA and Red Cross certifications are accepted with standard two-year renewal periods.
