CPR Certification in Montana
Whether you need CPR certification for your job, to meet school requirements, or for personal preparedness, Montana has accredited training centers offering American Red Cross, American Heart Association, and ASHI classes. Most classes include hands-on skills practice and take between 2–6 hours to complete. Certifications are typically valid for two years.

CPR & First Aid Requirements in Montana
Montana requires CPR certification for a wide range of occupations including educational facility staff, social workers, childcare professionals, youth sports coaches, and fitness trainers. EMS professionals must hold current CPR certification through the state Department of Health. While CPR training is not currently required for high school graduation in Montana, many school districts independently require staff certification. Both AHA and Red Cross certifications are accepted, with standard two-year renewal periods across all professions.
