CPR & First Aid Requirements in Louisiana
Louisiana has required CPR training for high school graduation since the 2014-2015 school year. All licensed childcare providers must maintain Adult, Child, and Infant CPR, AED, and First Aid certification as required by the Louisiana Department of Education. Notably, Louisiana is one of the states that requires nurses to maintain Basic Life Support-level CPR and First Aid certification for licensure.
