My Account

Why am I being asked for a 6-digit code at login?

Short explainer for admin users who see the 2FA challenge page after entering their password.

If you see a page asking for a 6-digit code after you enter your email and password, that means two-factor authentication (2FA) is turned on for your account. This is an extra security step.

What to do

Entering the code
  1. 1Open the authenticator app you used when you set up 2FA (Google Authenticator, 1Password, Authy, etc.).
  2. 2Find the entry for DoCPR.com in your app.
  3. 3The app shows a 6-digit code that changes every 30 seconds.
  4. 4Type the current code into the box on the login page.
  5. 5Click Submit (or press Enter).
💡
Tip: If the code does not work, wait for the authenticator app to display a new code and try again. Codes are time-sensitive and expire quickly.

I did not set up 2FA but I am seeing this page

A tenant administrator may have turned on 2FA for your role. Ask them or email support@docpr.com for help.

I lost my phone or authenticator app

Click the "Use a recovery code" link on the code page and enter one of the 10 recovery codes you saved when you enrolled. See "Lost your authenticator app? Using recovery codes" for the full walkthrough.
