Why was I signed out?
If you were logged out unexpectedly, here is what probably happened and how to get back in.
If you open the portal and get sent to the login page — or you see "Your session has expired" — it is almost always one of four things. Log back in and you will be returned to where you were.
Common reasons
Why you were signed out
- Inactivity — for your security, long idle periods end your session.
- Your password was changed — on this account or on another device; all sessions reset.
- The app was updated — a platform release sometimes invalidates older sessions.
- You signed out in another tab — signing out affects every tab on the same browser.
How to get back in
Re-authenticate
- 1Go to https://app.docpr.com/portal and enter your email + password.
- 2If you forgot your password, click "Forgot password?" — see "How to reset your password."
- 3After logging in, the portal tries to return you to the page you were on. If it does not, use the bottom nav bar (on phone) or the top menu (on desktop) to navigate.

Tip: If you get signed out over and over, check that your browser allows cookies for this site. Private / incognito windows and strict privacy extensions sometimes block the session cookie.

Note: We intentionally never tell you "your session was about to expire" because that can be abused. Just log back in — it takes a few seconds.
