My course shows as incomplete but I finished it
What to do when your online course status has not updated after you finished.
Sometimes a course shows as "in progress" or "incomplete" even after you have finished it. Here is what to try.
Steps to try
- 1Make sure you completed all sections of the course, including any final quiz or summary screen.
- 2Close the course window completely and go back to your portal.
- 3Refresh the portal page (press F5).
- 4Wait a few minutes and check again. Status updates can take a moment.
- 5Try logging out and logging back in.

Note: The course is marked complete when you reach the final screen. If the course ended unexpectedly (browser crash, lost internet), reopen it and navigate to the last section to trigger completion.

Tip: Take note of how far you got and what the last screen said. This helps us troubleshoot if you need to contact support.
