Browser requirements for online courses
Which browsers work best and how to check your version.
Online courses work best on up-to-date browsers. Here is what we support.
| Browser | Supported? | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Google Chrome | Yes (recommended) | Works best |
| Mozilla Firefox | Yes | Works well |
| Microsoft Edge | Yes | Works well |
| Apple Safari | Yes | Current versions only |
| Internet Explorer | No | Not supported — please use Chrome |
How to check your browser version (Chrome example)
- 1Open Chrome.
- 2Click the three dots in the top right corner.
- 3Click Help → About Google Chrome.
- 4Your version is listed there. Chrome will update automatically if it is out of date.
Other requirements
- Popups must be allowed for https://app.docpr.com
- JavaScript must be enabled (it is on by default in all modern browsers)
- A stable internet connection (Wi-Fi or wired is recommended)
- Sound is helpful but not required for most courses
💡
Tip: If the course does not load in your usual browser, try opening it in Chrome. Chrome is the most widely compatible browser for online courses.
