When we remind you that your cert is about to expire
You will receive automatic emails when your CPR cert is approaching its expiration date.
You do not have to remember when your cert expires. We watch the date and send you a friendly reminder so you have plenty of time to book a renewal class.
When you get reminders
- 90 days before expiry — first heads-up, with a link to find a renewal class
- 60 days before expiry — second nudge if you have not booked yet
- 30 days before expiry — final warning while you still have time
- On the day of expiry — courtesy note that your cert is no longer current
What to do when you receive a reminder
- 1Tap the Find a renewal class button in the email.
- 2Browse upcoming classes near you that match your cert type.
- 3Register and pay just like you did the first time.
- 4After class, your new cert lands in the Wallet automatically.
💡
Tip: If you do not want these emails, go to https://app.docpr.com/portal/account → Notifications and turn off Cert expiration reminders. We recommend leaving them on.
ℹ️
Note: External certs you uploaded yourself (from another provider) get the same reminders, based on the expiration date you typed in.
