Using the "What Do I Need?" CPR requirements wizard
Answer a few questions and get a personalized CPR certification recommendation for your job.
Not sure which CPR class to take? The "What Do I Need?" wizard asks about your job and location, then tells you exactly which certification to get.
How to use the wizard
- 1Go to https://app.docpr.com/cpr-requirements/check.
- 2Step 1 — Type your job title or search for your profession (e.g., "nurse", "teacher", "personal trainer").
- 3Step 2 — Select your state.
- 4Step 3 — Review your personalized recommendation. It shows the best class to book, a plain-English explanation, the renewal schedule, and whether your state has any extra notes.
- 5Step 4 — Click the class button to jump straight into matching classes. Some roles go directly to a cert page, and some go to the broader state directory when there is not one exact public class slug.
💡
Tip: You can also browse all professions at https://app.docpr.com/cpr-requirements without going through the wizard.
ℹ️
Note: The wizard uses national standards, employer norms, and state-specific overrides where available. For the most accurate guidance, confirm requirements with your employer, certifying body, or licensing board.
