Acceptable Use Policy

Last Updated: March 15, 2026

1. Purpose and Scope

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs the use of the DoCPR platform, including all associated services, applications, and websites (collectively, the "Platform"). DoCPR is a multi-tenant software-as-a-service ("SaaS") platform designed to help CPR training businesses ("Tenants") manage classes, scheduling, student enrollment, instructor assignments, and certification tracking.

This AUP applies to all users of the Platform, including but not limited to Tenant administrators, instructors, students, and any individual or entity that accesses or interacts with the Platform in any capacity. By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to comply with this AUP in its entirety.

This AUP supplements and is incorporated into the DoCPR Terms of Service. In the event of a conflict between this AUP and the Terms of Service, the Terms of Service shall control unless this AUP explicitly states otherwise.

2. Acceptable Use

The Platform is intended solely for lawful purposes related to the management, scheduling, and administration of CPR, first aid, and related life-safety training programs. Acceptable uses of the Platform include, but are not limited to:

  • Creating, scheduling, and managing CPR, AED, first aid, and related training classes.
  • Enrolling students in classes and managing student rosters and attendance records.
  • Assigning qualified instructors to scheduled classes within your Tenant account.
  • Issuing, tracking, and managing certifications and completion records for students who have successfully completed authorized training programs.
  • Configuring Tenant-specific settings, branding, and public-facing pages for your training business.

  • Generating reports and analytics related to your training business operations.
  • Processing payments for class enrollments through Platform-integrated payment systems.

All use of the Platform must comply with applicable local, state, federal, and international laws and regulations, including those governing CPR training, certification, and health and safety education.

3. Prohibited Activities

You may not use the Platform to engage in any of the following activities. Violation of these prohibitions may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account:

3.1 Fraud and Misrepresentation

  • Issuing, distributing, or facilitating the creation of fraudulent, falsified, or misleading certifications or completion records.

  • Impersonating any person, organization, or accreditation body.

3.2 Unauthorized Access and Security Violations

  • Attempting to access accounts, data, or systems belonging to other Tenants or users without explicit authorization.
  • Circumventing, disabling, or interfering with any security features, access controls, or authentication mechanisms of the Platform.
  • Using any automated tool, script, bot, or crawler to access, scrape, harvest, or extract data from the Platform without prior written consent from DoCPR.
  • Probing, scanning, or testing the vulnerability of the Platform or any connected system or network without authorization.
  • Sharing login credentials with unauthorized individuals or allowing unauthorized third parties to access your account.

3.3 Multi-Tenant System Abuse

  • Attempting to access, view, modify, or delete data belonging to another Tenant's account.
  • Exploiting shared infrastructure to degrade performance or availability for other Tenants.
  • Creating multiple Tenant accounts to circumvent usage limits, billing obligations, or enforcement actions.
  • Interfering with the operations, data integrity, or user experience of other Tenants on the Platform.

3.4 Data Scraping and Misuse

  • Scraping, harvesting, or collecting personal information of students, instructors, or other users without their consent.
  • Using data obtained through the Platform for purposes unrelated to legitimate CPR training business operations.
  • Selling, licensing, or distributing Platform data or user information to third parties.

3.5 General Prohibitions

  • Using the Platform for any purpose other than CPR, first aid, and related life-safety training management.

  • Engaging in any activity that places an unreasonable or disproportionately large load on the Platform's infrastructure.
  • Using the Platform to send unsolicited commercial messages, spam, or bulk communications unrelated to training operations.
  • Reverse engineering, decompiling, disassembling, or otherwise attempting to derive the source code of the Platform.

4. Certification Integrity

DoCPR takes the integrity of CPR and life-safety certifications extremely seriously. Tenants that issue certifications through the Platform must adhere to the following requirements:

  • Accreditation Compliance: Tenants must maintain valid, current accreditation or authorization from the relevant certifying bodies for all certification programs offered through the Platform. This includes, but is not limited to, the American Heart Association (AHA), the American Red Cross, and the American Safety & Health Institute (ASHI).
  • Instructor Qualifications: Tenants must ensure that all instructors assigned to certification courses hold valid, current instructor credentials issued by the applicable accreditation body and are authorized to teach the specific courses to which they are assigned.
  • Curriculum Standards: All training delivered through classes managed on the Platform must adhere to the curriculum, skills assessments, and evaluation criteria established by the relevant accreditation body.
  • Accurate Record-Keeping: Tenants must maintain accurate and complete records of student attendance, skills evaluations, written assessments, and course completions. These records must be available for audit upon request by DoCPR or the relevant accreditation body.
  • No Fraudulent Certifications: Tenants must not issue certifications to individuals who have not successfully completed all required components of an authorized training program. Issuing certifications without proper student participation and evaluation is strictly prohibited.
  • Timely Reporting: Tenants must promptly report any known or suspected certification fraud, instructor credential issues, or accreditation status changes to DoCPR at abuse@docpr.com.

DoCPR reserves the right to audit Tenant certification records, suspend certification issuance capabilities, and report suspected certification fraud to the appropriate accreditation bodies and regulatory authorities.

5. Account Responsibilities

All users are responsible for maintaining the security and proper use of their accounts. Specific responsibilities include:

  • Credential Security: You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials, including passwords and any multi-factor authentication methods. You must not share your credentials with unauthorized individuals.
  • Authorized Users: Tenant administrators are responsible for managing user access within their Tenant account. This includes granting appropriate permission levels, promptly revoking access for former employees or contractors, and ensuring that all users within the Tenant account comply with this AUP.
  • Accurate Information: You must provide and maintain accurate, current, and complete account information, including contact details, business information, and accreditation credentials.
  • Prompt Notification: You must immediately notify DoCPR of any unauthorized use of your account, any security breach, or any other compromise of your account credentials.
  • Activity Responsibility: You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account, whether authorized by you or not, unless you have notified DoCPR of a security breach and DoCPR has failed to take reasonable steps to prevent further unauthorized access.

6. Content Standards

Tenants may publish content on their public-facing pages within the Platform, including business descriptions, class listings, instructor profiles, and promotional materials. All published content must comply with the following standards:

  • Accuracy: All content must be truthful, accurate, and not misleading. Class descriptions, pricing, schedules, certification details, and instructor qualifications must reflect actual offerings and credentials.
  • Professionalism: Content must be professional in tone and appropriate for a health and safety training context. Content must not contain obscene, offensive, discriminatory, or harassing language or imagery.
  • Intellectual Property: Tenants must have the legal right to use all content they publish, including text, images, logos, and trademarks. Unauthorized use of accreditation body logos, trademarks, or copyrighted materials is prohibited.
  • No Prohibited Content: Content must not promote illegal activities, contain malicious links or code, or include personal information of individuals without their consent.
  • Accreditation Claims: Any claims of accreditation, authorization, or affiliation with certifying bodies (such as AHA, American Red Cross, or ASHI) must be accurate and current. Displaying expired or revoked accreditation credentials is prohibited.
  • Compliance: All content must comply with applicable advertising laws, consumer protection regulations, and healthcare education standards.

DoCPR reserves the right to remove, modify, or disable access to any content that violates these standards, with or without prior notice to the Tenant.

7. Reporting Violations

DoCPR encourages all users to report suspected violations of this AUP. If you believe that a user, Tenant, or any activity on the Platform violates this policy, please report it promptly by contacting us at:

DoCPR Abuse Reporting

Email: abuse@docpr.com

When reporting a violation, please include the following information to help us investigate promptly:

  • Your name and contact information.
  • A detailed description of the suspected violation, including relevant dates, times, and user or Tenant identifiers.
  • Any supporting evidence, such as screenshots, URLs, or documentation.
  • The specific section of this AUP you believe has been violated.

DoCPR will review all reports in a timely manner and will take appropriate action as determined in its sole discretion. Reports may be made anonymously, although providing contact information allows us to follow up if additional details are needed. DoCPR will not retaliate against any user who makes a good-faith report of a suspected violation.

8. Enforcement and Consequences

DoCPR reserves the right to investigate any suspected violation of this AUP and to take appropriate enforcement action in its sole discretion. Enforcement actions may include, but are not limited to:

  • Warning: Issuing a written warning to the user or Tenant, identifying the violation and requiring corrective action within a specified timeframe.
  • Content Removal: Removing, disabling, or modifying content that violates this AUP.
  • Feature Restriction: Temporarily or permanently restricting access to specific Platform features, including certification issuance capabilities.
  • Account Suspension: Temporarily suspending a user account or Tenant account, preventing access to the Platform for a specified period while the violation is investigated or remediated.
  • Account Termination: Permanently terminating a user account or Tenant account for severe or repeated violations.
  • Reporting to Authorities: Reporting violations to relevant accreditation bodies, regulatory authorities, or law enforcement agencies as appropriate, particularly in cases of certification fraud or illegal activity.

The severity of the enforcement action will depend on the nature, severity, and frequency of the violation. DoCPR may take immediate action without prior notice in cases involving fraud, security threats, illegal activity, or imminent harm to other users or Tenants.

Terminated Tenants are not entitled to refunds for any prepaid subscription fees. DoCPR will provide a reasonable opportunity to export Tenant data prior to permanent account deletion, unless doing so would compromise an ongoing investigation or violate legal obligations.

9. Changes to This Policy

DoCPR reserves the right to modify this AUP at any time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page and notify affected users through one or more of the following methods:

  • Posting a prominent notice on the Platform dashboard.
  • Sending an email notification to the Tenant administrator's registered email address.
  • Displaying an in-app notification upon your next login.

Your continued use of the Platform after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised AUP. If you do not agree with the changes, you must discontinue use of the Platform and contact DoCPR to close your account.
